Yamaha entered a new chapter in India Today by launching the all new Yamaha YZF R2 motorcycle in India starting at a price of Rs 2,30,500 ( Ex-showroom, Delhi). Yamaha’s R series is quite a hit in India and the world, especially their R15 series – R15’s legacy is now renewed with the introduction of all new Yamaha R2 aka Yamaha YZF R2.

New Yamaha R2 is powered by a liquid cooled 204 cc engine with a whooping power output of 26.5 PS and a peak torque of 19.1 Nm. The new Yamaha R2 is available for sale immediately in India – available in 3 variants and 5 color options. The 3 variants of Yamaha R2 includes the standard YZF R2, the YZF-R2 with Quick Shifter and YZF-R2 M (Gets most advanced cutting edge features in R2 series)



The all new Yamaha R2 series offers a very stylish motorcycle portfolio with vibrant color options listed above. The top of the line Yamaha R2 M is priced at Rs 2,53,000 and is exclusively available in Metallic Gray color option. The Yamaha R2 with Quick Shifter is available in Matte White Pearl and Racing Blue color option where as the standard Yamaha R2 is launched in Metallic Black and Dark Bluish Gray color.
