Ather is undoubtedly the only manufacturer with some pure product innovation. Ather 450X has evolved overtime with better performance, looks, features, battery capacity and range. As we know, Ather 450X comes with wide range of attractive color options. Ather Today has made an official announcement that it is launching the all new Overtones Series.
Of course, it looks exactly the same like Ather 450X but with a different skin – So what is “Overtones” all about? The electric scooter in “Overtones” avatar is nothing but a refreshed model along with a unique new tone-on-tone design treatment across Still White, Space Grey, and Lunar Grey. A tone-on-tone design is a technique which uses multiple shades, tints, and hues from a single color family. By layering variations of one base color instead of mixing contrasting colors, it creates a clean, sophisticated, and cohesive aesthetic (some examples and photos of tone-on-tone design are here). It still retains the same performance and technology as that of 450 lineup.

At the 2025 Ather Community Day, Ather Energy unveiled multiple new capabilities powered by Atherstack 7, the latest version of Ather’s proprietary software platform. Among them was the ‘Voice on Ather’, which allows riders to navigate, locate charging stations, and control key vehicle functions such as display brightness using voice commands. The experience is further enhanced with the Halo, Ather’s smart helmet.
In the official press release, Ather has not mentioned any particular ex-showroom price details for the Overtones Series scooters.
