Upgraded Kinetic DX+ Launched with 3.1 kWh Battery, 132 km Range at ₹1,27,650
Kinetic has introduced a significant upgrade to its EV lineup with the launch of the new Kinetic DX+ electric scooter. Addressing the primary limitation of the previous 2.6 kWh version—which offered a real-world range of under 100 km—the scooter is now equipped with a larger 3.1 kWh LFP battery. This update pushes the certified IDC range to 132 km, ensuring practical, everyday usability for urban commuters.
The core upgrade to the DX+ is the new 3.1 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery pack. Paired with a 3.8 kW peak-power hub BLDC motor, the scooter now delivers a real-world range of 105 to 110 km on a single charge.

To further boost efficiency, the DX+ features K-Coast Tech, a regenerative braking system that recovers energy during deceleration across its two riding modes (Range and Power).
Retaining its signature all-metal body, the new DX+ is designed to handle rough urban terrain while offering modern conveniences.

The new DX range is aggressively priced and available in two distinct battery configurations. The base DX now features a 3 kWh battery, while the DX+ gets the top-tier 3.1 kWh pack.

The newly launched DX+ upgrades to a 3.1 kWh LFP battery, increasing the certified IDC range to 132 km and offering a comfortable real-world range of 105 to 110 km.
The 3.1 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery is engineered to offer a better combination of range, durability, and everyday usability. LFP chemistry is generally known for higher thermal stability and a longer lifecycle compared to standard lithium-ion packs.
K-Coast Tech is Kinetic’s proprietary power regeneration system. It enables energy recovery during deceleration, feeding power back into the battery to maximize real-world range.
With the Easy Charge system, the 3.1 kWh battery can charge from 0 to 80% in approximately 3 hours. Additionally, the DX+ variant features a built-in retractable charging cable for added convenience.
Beyond the upgraded battery, the DX+ includes Park Assist with Reverse for tight spaces, a massive 37-litre under-seat storage compartment, an Easy Flip one-touch pillion footrest, IP67 water and dust protection, and built-in telematics.
