When Yamaha launched the XSR155 in India at an introductory price of Rs 1,49,990 (ex-showroom), it instantly grabbed attention with its neo-retro styling and premium hardware. At the time of its launch, the brand kept the pricing straightforward, offering all four colour options at an identical price point.
However, just three months later, Yamaha quietly revised the price structure of the neo-retro motorcycle. The update has effectively structured the XSR155 range based on the specific paint treatment and visual detailing.

With the latest update, each paint scheme now commands its own specific premium. The base colour remains available at the original launch price point, while the other colour options now carry premiums that range from Rs 3,000 to Rs 9,000.
Here is the updated colour-wise price list for the Yamaha XSR155:
| Colour Option | Price (ex-showroom, Delhi) |
| Metallic Blue | Rs 1,49,990 |
| Vivid Red | Rs 1,52,990 |
| Metallic Grey | Rs 1,56,990 |
| Greyish Green Metallic | Rs 1,58,990 |
| Metallic Black (new) | Rs 1,58,990 |
Alongside the price revision, the update also includes the introduction of a recently launched ‘Metallic Black’ shade. This brings the total number of available paint schemes for the motorcycle to five. The new Metallic Black paint scheme sits at the very top of the price range for this model.
Despite the motorcycle no longer being a single-price proposition, it continues to offer a compelling design, premium components, and accessible performance. Furthermore, even with the price hike, the top-end colours of the XSR155 remain more affordable than the base variant of the Yamaha MT-15, which is priced at Rs 1,59,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Metallic Blue variant, considered by some as the coolest colour option, is still priced the same as it was before the hike.
