Triumph Motorcycles, with its 120 years of motorcycling heritage, has announced a significant price drop on its flagship Speed 400 and Speed T4 models. This unexpected move comes even as the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on motorcycles above 350 cc has risen sharply to 40%.
Triumph, in partnership with Bajaj Auto Ltd., has chosen to absorb the entire increased tax burden, adding to the festive celebrations of customers in India. This decision reinforces a customer-first approach and ensures that two of the most accessible premium motorcycles remain financially within reach for enthusiasts.

The price revision ensures that the Speed range continues to deliver unmatched value, despite the higher40% GST. The maximum price slash across the two models is up to ₹16,797.
| Model | Previous Ex-showroom Price | New Ex-showroom Price | Price Slash (₹) | |
| Triumph Speed 400 | ₹2,50,551 | ₹2,33,754 | ₹16,797 (calculated) | |
| Triumph Speed T4 | ₹2,06,738 | ₹1,92,539 | ₹14,199 (calculated) |
Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto Ltd., noted that the price slash is a clear reflection of the customer trust and aspiration associated with Triumph, and the partnership is confident of sustaining the sales momentum going forward.

The Speed range has been the fastest-growing line in Triumph’s India portfolio, with monthly volumes nearly doubling since FY23-24.
The decision to slash prices despite the industry-wide tax challenge is a direct benefit to the customer, ensuring the Speed range remains competitively positioned in the premium segment. This move is designed to make the Triumph experience more accessible than ever.
