Kinetic has brought back a slice of Indian scooter nostalgia with the launch of the Kinetic DX electric scooter. The DX is a modern-day EV tribute to the original Kinetic Honda DX that became a household name in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, blending iconic design with advanced electric mobility. Kinetic emphasizes that its LFP batteries are long-lasting, safer, superior, and boast better thermal stability, making them ideal for Indian conditions. They are designed by RANGE-X specifically for Kinetic DX and offer a 60 Volt efficiency with IP67 water and dust protection.
Kinetic claims the range can be further extended to 150km if ridden under 30kph with cruise lock on flat roads. Charging times are rated at 0–50% in 2 hours, 0–80% in 3 hours, and a full charge in 4 hours. This robust warranty comes with RSA (Roadside Assistance) support. Kinetic is likely to retail the DX through its newly established Watts & Volts EV showrooms and its existing dealer network.
