Kinetic Engineering Limited (KEL) has announced an additional investment of approximately ₹57 crore to drive expansion and growth. The investment is structured as the final tranche of conversion for 44,51,000 warrants issued to promoters in March 2025. This financial injection reflects strengthening internal stakeholder confidence, demonstrated by the increase in promoter shareholding from 50% to 69.27% over the past four years.

The funds are allocated to two primary strategic divisions:

Kinetic is expanding its electric vehicle portfolio with the upgraded Kinetic DX and DX+ scooters, which are gaining significant market traction. The electric scooters are now powered by advanced 3.1 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology. This upgrade provides a practical IDC range of up to 132 km per charge.

The Kinetic DX series integrates practical everyday features, including:

The design and engineering of the Kinetic DX have earned it the “Viewers’ Choice EV Scooter of the Year” award from the Times of India Group. Furthermore, Kinetic Watts & Volts secured two titles at the India’s Best Design Awards 2026: “India’s Best In-House Design Studios 2026” and “India’s Best Design Project 2026”.
To support the growing consumer demand, Kinetic is rapidly expanding its distribution ecosystem. The company has signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) with over 150 dealers nationwide, with more than 60 full-service 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) facilities already operational.

Kinetic is targeting a top-10 position among electric vehicle brands in India. The company’s expansion aligns with the projected growth of the domestic electric two-wheeler market. According to a Kearney report, electric two-wheeler penetration in India is anticipated to reach approximately 26% by the fiscal year 2030. This adoption rate is expected to expand the total market size from 1.8 million to 7 million units, providing a substantial growth opportunity for Kinetic’s EV division.
