Few weeks ago, Ather Energy, a Bengaluru based EV startup that went public last year announced the launch of their flagship electric scooter “KONARC” which is based on the newly built EL platform. EL platform/architecture is designed such a way that it can accommodate batteries of different capacities and comes with advanced battery packs featuring cell-balancing technology. The new Ather Konarc is introduced in S and Z variant featuring metal body. Both the S variant and Z variant features a 14 inch wheel and has different battery pack options / range – The Konarc S variant is limited by features where as the Ather Konarc Z gets some cutting edge features like Air Walk ( a feature that helps you tow your scooter easily with minimum effort), MagicKey (Keyless entry to your scooter with advanced level of owner detection), Auto-Pop ( a feature where you can open the under seat storage just with a sleek touch on external button) and more.
