Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has expanded its retail network in Punjab with the inauguration of Pluton Suzuki in Ludhiana on May 28, 2026. Situated strategically at Ansal Plaza in Gurdev Nagar, the new location is designed as the brand’s first Experience Zone within the state.
The opening of Pluton Suzuki brings SMIPL’s nationwide presence to 1,244 outlets. In Punjab, the company now operates 12 total touchpoints, with this location serving as the second authorized dealership in Ludhiana. SMIPL, which operates as a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, and has manufactured two-wheelers at its Gurugram, Haryana plant since 2006, developed this new outlet to function as a comprehensive 3S facility. The location integrates sales, service, and spare parts under one roof.
The site was officially inaugurated by Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director of SMIPL, alongside dealer partner Gaurav Kanodia and other company officials.
Addressing the expansion, Umeda emphasized the operational goals of the new facility. “Pluton Suzuki in Ludhiana brings us closer to our customers, giving them easy access to our full range of scooters, motorcycles, big bikes and after-sales services,” Umeda stated. He further noted the company’s intention to utilize the space to facilitate community initiatives, including Suzuki MotoFest, the Access Mileage Contest, and V-STROM Experience rides.
