Yamaha India Sales Performance Report: November 2025

Yamaha Motor India closed November 2025 with a total sales figure of 42,025 units. This represents a 24.66% year-on-year (YoY) decline compared to the 55,781 units sold in November 2024. On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, sales dropped by 38.54% from October 2025’s 68,375 units, reflecting the cooling of festive season demand.

The RayZR 125 emerged as the sole savior for the brand, recording the only positive YoY growth in the entire portfolio.

Model-Wise Performance Analysis

Yamaha RayZR 125

The RayZR 125 was the top performer, contributing over 50% of Yamaha’s total sales in November 2025. It recorded a significant 45.89% YoY growth, although it did see a 7.43% MoM decline from October’s 22,738 units.

Yamaha FZ Series

The FZ lineup, historically a strong pillar for Yamaha, faced a steep decline. Sales more than halved on both YoY and MoM scales, dropping 55.03% YoY and 60.14% MoM. It remains the second best-selling Yamaha model but with a reduced market share of 15.41%.

Yamaha Fascino 125

The Fascino held third place with 5,306 units. While it suffered a 33.01% YoY drop, its MoM performance remained remarkably steady with only a marginal 1.03% decline compared to October 2025.

Yamaha R15 and MT-15

Yamaha’s 155cc flagships witnessed substantial volume loss.

  • R15: Sales fell by 40.08% YoY to 4,257 units.
  • MT-15: Experienced the sharpest decline in the volume-oriented portfolio, dropping 61.45% YoY and 71.05% MoM.

Yamaha Aerox 155

The premium maxi-scooter recorded 1,116 units. It faced a 44.73% YoY decline and a significant 61.37% MoM drop.

Yamaha R3 and MT-03

Combined sales for these models stood at just 5 units. These models were recently discontinued in the Indian market, signaling that updated versions may be on the horizon.


Spotlight: The All-New Yamaha XSR 155

While the XSR 155 was not yet reflected in the November 2025 sales charts (having launched mid-month on November 11), it has generated immense positive buzz across the country. Deliveries officially began on November 13, 2025.

Based on the potent R15 platform, this neo-retro motorcycle is expected to bolster Yamaha’s premium sales in the coming months. With an introductory price of Rs 1,49,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it offers a blend of timeless design and modern hardware like VVA technology and USD forks.
